Robert M. Bulfin
Robert M. Bulfin has been a practicing attorney in Fort Lauderdale since 1976 and is an AV-rated member of the Florida Bar. He has engaged in representing business and commercial enterprises in various industries in South Florida including construction, hotel, restaurant, licensing, permitting, and real estate investments and transactions. He has defended his corporate clients against EEOC and employment discrimination claims, ADA matters, and unfair wage and other governmental and private claims, negotiated and prepared a wide variety of contracts and leases in both the public and private sectors, and provided counsel in corporate practices and settlement of disputes. Since joining Panza Maurer as a partner in 2016, Mr. Bulfin has also represented clients in the fields of health care, real estate development, medical marijuana licensing, and corporate sales and acquisitions. He has counseled not-for-profits in organizational, contractual, and real estate matters. The clients Mr. Bulfin has successfully represented in various business transactions and endeavors include Ballard Partners, Inc., Nova Southeastern University, Inc., Sunshine Cleaning Systems, Inc., LBTS Properties, LLC, Atlantic Transcontinental Energy, LLC, and Florida Railroad, LLC.
Mr. Bulfin was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1976 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He earned his B.A. in Government from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 and his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago Law School in 1976.
Mr. Bulfin is a member of the Business Law, General Practice, and Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar. He is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association and served as Co-Chair of the Professionalism Committee from July 2014 through June 2016. He is past President and a current board member of the St. Thomas More Society of South Florida (a society of Catholic lawyers and judges whose mission is to enhance the principled practice of law in the community). In addition, Mr. Bulfin was appointed by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors Association to serve on its joint Realtor-Attorney Committee from June 2014 to June 2016. He is also a director and president of the Notre Dame Club of Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Bulfin lives in Broward County. He and his wife, Gail Bulfin, have two children.
