Benjamin P. Bean

Benjamin P. Bean practices primarily in the area of business litigation in state and federal court. He also has considerable experience dealing with administrative and regulatory law, employment law, and corporate matters.

Mr. Bean was profiled as a “Rising Star” by Attorney at Law Magazine in 2018. Additionally, he has been named a 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyer of South Florida by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an “Up and Comer” by Florida Trend magazine, and a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Bean received his juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 2009, where he was executive editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, and earned his bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Michigan in 2004.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Bean is active in the community. He is a current member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Miami-Fort Lauderdale, and annually works on the Club’s Scholarship Golf Tournament Planning Committee. Additionally, Mr. Bean has served on the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Community Services Board, where he worked with other citizens to review social services and cultural funding allocations with a social service impact and advised the City Commission on community block grant activities. He has also served as a member of the Young Leadership Council Steering Committee for Gilda’s Club South Florida, an organization that provides a welcoming community of support for anyone living with cancer — men, women, teens, and children — along with their families and friends. Finally, Mr. Bean regularly spends his weekends working as a volunteer youth soccer coach.

Mr. Bean is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
