Government Relations

Sandra S. Harris is the governmental relations director for the firm, overseeing the lobbying and political activities for and on behalf of the firm’s clients. Lobbying activities at the state level include working with both legislative and executive agencies, local governments, and congressional delegations. Ms. Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University and has worked within the public and private sectors of government since 1979. She has served in senior policy positions at the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, and the Florida Department of Education. She has a strong background in health care policy, social service policy, and education policy areas. In addition, Ms. Harris has worked with several trade associations and business groups. Ms. Harris is not a member of the Florida Bar.

Vice President of Government Relations

Sandi serves as Vice President of Government Relations at the firm, where she leads lobbying and political advocacy efforts on behalf of a diverse range of clients. She manages the firm’s governmental affairs strategy across state, local, and federal levels, engaging with legislative bodies, executive agencies, local governments, and Florida’s congressional delegation.

With a career in government and public affairs that began in 1979, Sandi brings extensive experience from both public service and the private sector. She has held senior policy positions at key state agencies, including the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and the Florida Department of Education.

Leveraging her in-depth knowledge of Florida’s political environment, Sandi has built a reputation as a trusted advocate in key policy areas, including health care, education, and social services. She regularly works with trade associations, nonprofit organizations, and business groups to develop and advance strategic legislative goals.

Sandi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University.  She is not a member of the Florida Bar.
