Richard A. Beauchamp's practice areas include the representation of one of the largest private universities and some of the largest school systems in the nation, as well as representing one of the largest accredited law enforcement agencies in the country.

Litigation Practice

Mr. Beauchamp is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and has lived in Florida since 1975. He began his legal career focusing on commercial litigation, construction disputes, personal injury matters, real estate, and insurance. After operating a successful solo practice concentrating on insurance, real estate, personal injury, governmental entity liability and products liability, he joined the firm as partner in 2002.

His practice encompasses educators' liability, civil rights litigation, commercial disputes, nursing home/medical malpractice litigation, and employment matters. He has represented both employees and employers regarding harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims, as well as E.E.O.C. proceedings and whistleblower matters.

He has managed the firm's statewide nursing home and rehabilitation hospital litigation division since joining. His experience includes multi-million dollar class actions and appellate work.
