About Benjamin
Ben is a legal advisor and litigator who represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts across Florida and beyond. His practice spans the full range of disputes clients face — commercial conflicts, employment claims, civil rights litigation, and tort claims — and extends to general counsel services for Florida businesses navigating complex legal and regulatory environments.
Litigation & General Counsel
Ben represents clients in high-stakes disputes across multiple jurisdictions, bringing sharp legal analysis and a practical, business-minded perspective to every matter. Whether the case involves a contract dispute between sophisticated commercial parties, a workplace discrimination or retaliation claim, a constitutional civil rights violation, or a serious personal injury, Ben's approach is the same: understand the client's objectives, assess the risks honestly, and pursue the most effective path to resolution, through trial, mediation, or negotiated settlement.
His commercial litigation practice covers contract disputes, business torts, fraud claims, and complex multi-party matters across a range of industries. Ben has significant experience litigating employment matters in both state and federal courts, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and executive-level employment issues. He also handles civil rights litigation in federal court, representing clients on constitutional claims and matters arising under federal civil rights statutes. In personal injury matters, Ben advocates for clients who have suffered serious harm, as well as defending businesses and institutions against such claims.
Beyond the courtroom, Ben regularly counsels employers on pre-litigation strategy, internal investigations, and risk mitigation — helping clients navigate sensitive workplace matters while minimizing exposure and disruption to business operations.
Ben also serves as general counsel to various Florida entities, providing strategic guidance on corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and contract negotiations. In this role, he acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering practical solutions aligned with each client's operational and long-term business objectives.
A significant part of Ben's practice involves advising private universities on legal and compliance matters, including Title IX, intercollegiate athletics, governance, and regulatory developments. He assists institutional clients with internal reviews and policy development, helping leadership stay ahead of an evolving and demanding compliance landscape.

Ben is a current member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Miami-Fort Lauderdale. He served on the City of Fort Lauderdale's Community Services Board, evaluating funding allocations for social service programs. Previously, he participated on the Young Leadership Council Steering Committee for Gilda's Club South Florida, an organization supporting individuals affected by cancer.

Ben earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2009, where he served as executive editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2004.
