Abby Vail has over 15 years of government affairs experience, providing political, strategic, and policy direction to clients before the legislative and executive branches of government. Her practice focuses on representing financial services clients in insurance, banking, consumer finance, securities, and fintech sectors.

Government Affairs

Most recently, Abby served as Chief of Staff of the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, contributing to the Financial Technology Regulatory Sandbox passage and development. Previously, she held positions as Vice President of External Affairs for an international healthcare company and Senior Cabinet Aide to former Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater.

She began her career at the Office of Insurance Regulation during significant property and casualty insurance reform following the 2004–2005 hurricane seasons.
