Gillian S. Maler has diverse legal experience representing clients in both the private and governmental sectors. Her practice areas include administrative and regulatory litigation, higher education law, healthcare compliance, and real estate transactions.
Ms. Maler graduated magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology from Florida State University. While attending law school, Ms. Maler was a teaching assistant in the legal writing program and research assistant for a professor of ethics representing lawyers and judges testifying in Florida Bar disciplinary hearings. She was selected to serve on the Executive Board of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law and clerked for a civil litigation firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Before joining Panza Maurer, Ms. Maler worked as a Guardian ad Litem Attorney advocating for the best interests of children in Broward County’s dependency system before the Honorable Judge Hope T. Bristol. She has also helped negotiate and settle numerous cases as a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator.
Ms. Maler is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
