Alec J. Zavell is an Associate at Panza, Maurer & Maynard and practices in the areas of administrative and regulatory litigation.
In 2017, Mr. Zavell earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, Summa Cum Laude, and was ranked in the top 2% of his class. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Zavell graduated from Florida Atlantic University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2014.
While attending law school, Mr. Zavell was named to the Dean’s List every semester and received CALI Book Awards in Torts, Lawyering Skills and Values II, Non-Profit Organizations, Criminal Procedure, Professional Responsibility, and Uniform Commercial Code – Sales. Mr. Zavell also actively participated in honors organizations, which included being the Assistant Lead Technical Editor for the Nova Law Review and the Director of Operations for the Nova Moot Court Society.
During law school Mr. Zavell was a research and teaching assistant for Professor Joseph Hnylka’s Legal Research and Writing course. Prior to becoming an Associate at Panza, Maurer & Maynard, Mr. Zavell clerked at a prestigious personal injury firm in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale during his final year of law school.
